Specimen Preparation: Allow specimen to clot (15 min.) completely at room temperature. Separate serum from cells by centrifuging for 10 min. Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated. Stability: Refrigerated: 3 days, Frozen 2 weeks . Avoid repeated freezing and thawing of the specimen. Reject Creteria: Mislabeled; broken or damaged tubes, the sample w/o test request.
