| Specimen Required: | Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST) - 1.0 ml serum
Specimen Preparation :
• Allow the tube to rest in an upright position for at least 30 minutes but not longer than 1 hour after collection to ensure proper clotting
Centrifuge for at least 15 minutes within one hour of collection.
Do not remove the stopper or pour off serum.
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated
Stability: Refrigerate : 48 hours after collection. After 48 hours, specimen must be frozen: 1 month.
COMMENT:
These test need to be collected on Monday-Thursday to ensure the specimen is received at our reference lab within stability. NOTE: * This test is approved for all states. *
