Specimen Required: Collect: Lavender (EDTA) OR Green (Plasma Heparinized)  - 3 ml plasma
INSTRUCTIONS: If possible, patients should discontinue all drugs at least 1 week prior to collection. The patient must stop smoking and drinking coffee or tea for a minimum of four hours before sample is drawn.
Specimen Preparation: Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature. Separate plasma from cells ASAP or within 30 min. of collection. Transfer plasma to a Standard Transport Tube.
Storage/Transport Temperature: CRITICAL FROZEN
Stability: Frozen 1 month
