Specimen Required: Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST) - 2 ml serum.
Specimen Preparation: Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature . Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. 
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
Unacceptable Conditions: Plasma. Contaminated, hemolyzed, grossly icteric or grossly lipemic specimens. Stability: After separation from cells: Ambient: 8 hours; Refrigerated: 7 days; Frozen: 1 month (if frozen within 24 hours)
