| Specimen Required: | Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST) - 1 ml serum;
AND well-mixed, 24-hour urine collection - 10 ml;
Specimen Preparation: Allow blood specimen to clot completely at room temperature. Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection
Please indicate the total urine volume and the start and end time of collection on the request form. Indicate the patient's height (in feet and inches) and weight (in lbs.) on test requisition. Note: A serum creatinine level must be collected within 24 hours of the beginning or ending of the urine collection. Storage/Transport Temperature: Room Temperature
