Collect: 

•   Clinical Collected Vaginal swab specimens in Aptima Multitest Swab Specimen Collection Kit (Orange label).

•   Clinician collected Endocervical swab specimens in Thin Prep.

•   Female and Male urine specimens collected in sterile cup and transferred to Aptima Urine Collection Kit(Yellow label) within 24 hours collection.

•   Clinician collected Male urethral swab specimens and penile meatal swab specimens (in a clinical setting) collected in Aptima Unisex Swab Specimen Collection Kit (White label).

 

Specimen Preparation:  Follow the Specimen collection and processing procedures. Indicate a specimen source

Storage/Transport temperature:  Room Temperature.

Stability: Room temperature: 7 days;  Refrigerated: 21 days.
