| Specimen Required: | Patient Preparation: Patient should fast for 12 hours prior to collection.
Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST) OR Lavender (EDTA) OR Green (sodium or lithium heparin) - 1 ml serum or plasma.
Specimen Preparation: Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature. Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection.
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
