Specimen  Preparation: Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature. Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection.

Stability:  Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: 2 weeks (avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles)
Unacceptable Conditions: CSF, plasma, urine, or other body fluids. Contaminated, hemolyzed, or severely lipemic specimens.
