Specimen Required:

Collect: Lavender (EDTA) - 3 ml plasma.

Specimen Preparation: Separate plasma from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transfer plasma to a Standard Transport Tubes and freeze immediately. 

Storage/Transport Temperature: CRITICAL FROZEN. Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.

Unacceptable Conditions: Non-frozen specimens.

Stability :  Refrigerated: Unacceptable; Frozen: 1 month
