| Specimen Required: | Collect: Plain Red OR Serum Separator Tube (SST) OR Green (Heparin) Top Tube - 0.6 ml serum or plasma.
Specimen Preparation: Allow blood (SST AND Red) to clot at room temperature (30 min) and separate serum or plasma from cells. Blood in Green Tube separate from cells ASAP. Transfer serum or plasma to a plastic transport tube .
Storage/Transport Temperature: Room Temperature.
Unacceptable Conditions: Hemolyzed or lipemic specimens.
