| Specimen Required: | Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST) - 0.5 ml serum.
Specimen Preparation: Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature. Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Avoid hemolysis.
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
Unacceptable Conditions: Grossly hemolyzed specimens. EDTA plasma.
Stability: After separation from cells: Refrigerated: 1 week, Frozen 1 month
