Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST).

 
Specimen Preparation:  Serum free from hemolysis is the recommended specimens. Allow blood samples to clot (15 mins). Separate the serum from the cells by centrifuging for 10 minutes. Store serum at 2-8°C until analysis.

Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
Stability : Store samples tightly stoppered at room temperature (15 to 25°C) for no longer than eight hours. If the assay will not be completed within eight hours, refrigerate the samples at 2 to 8°C. If the assay will not be completed within 48 hours, or for shipment of samples, freeze at -20°C or colder.
