| Specimen Required: | Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST).
Specimen Preparation: Serum free from hemolysis is the recommended specimens. Allow blood samples to clot (15 mins). Separate the serum from the cells by centrifuging for 10 minutes. Store serum at 2-8°C until analysis.
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated
Stability: Store samples tightly stoppered at room temperature (15 to 30°C) for up to 18 hours. If the assay will not be completed within 18 hours, refrigerate the samples at 2 to 8°C. If the assay will not be completed within seven days, freeze at -20°C or colder. Frozen specimens can be stored up to 30 days before testing.
